I am ashamed to say I have not been blogging lately although I do have a pretty good excuse…
Recently I have spent a month in Burma. It was incredible it gave me a lot of perspective on how lucky I am and the incredibly lucky and wealthy world I live in. I have to go but you will be hearing allot more about Burma (Myanmar) IN THE NEXT POST. your friend in words and deeds, Coco.
A poem about cacti
I have always loved cacti, why you arks,
Because they are survives
.
Many ”pretty plants” will make you smile during the sweet warm Months of summer,
But be weak and die in winter.
The cacti are wise and protect them selves with a skin of thorns.
But will not spike your skin unless you try to penetrate there leathery hide.
And that is why I say with great confidence that cacti are by far the best plant to roam my backyard.
I have just been to the best show about technology yet. it stars three girls and a hole lot of skits about using technology wisely. They don’t tell you to turn of your phones and they encourage you to like them on Facebook and follow them on twitter. A wonderful show that shows you the ups and downs of technology.
I highly recommend it and it is showing at la Mama.
I am reading the most wonderful book. it is part of the series once, then, now and after by Morris Gleitzmen. I am now up to after, it is a amazing heartbreaking story of a jewish boy as he strives to survive though world war 2.
dreams are crushed and people die but he still seems to struggle on. i highly recommend this book!
